Join Little Lanterns for a special evening of light, hope, and community as we officially kick off our annual 86 Days of Hope campaign.

This year, we’re bringing the Little Lanterns name to life by filling Miller Point with glowing luminaries created by you, the members of our community. Families will have the opportunity to decorate a luminary and help us Light the Way as we begin 86 days of fundraising, collecting needed items, and spreading awareness to benefit a local Special Care Nursery and the families it serves. (To be announced at the event)

Whether your family has experienced a NICU or Special Care Nursery stay, you want to support someone who has, or you simply want to be part of a meaningful community event, we invite you to join us.

Come decorate a luminary, enjoy the evening with your family, and help us illuminate Miller Point with hope.

What Is 86 Days of Hope?

Our annual 86 Days of Hope campaign was inspired by the 86 days Little Lanterns founder Megg and her family spent in the NICU with baby Colin—from October 26 through January 20.

Each year, we honor that journey by spending those same 86 days giving back.

Beginning with our October 26 kick-off, our community will come together to collect needed items, raise funds, and provide meaningful support to this year’s selected Special Care Nursery.

The luminaries glowing throughout Miller Point will mark just the beginning of what we hope to accomplish together over the next 86 days.

There will be several opportunities to donate and support the campaign during the event, but your involvement doesn’t have to end when the luminaries go out.

Local businesses and organizations are invited to become Light the Way Kick-Off Sponsors for $250.

Event sponsors receive recognition with a yard sign displayed during the event, logo placement on our event T-shirt, bi-weekly social media advertising throughout the 86 days, and website recognition.
